How to reach there: Tegallalang is half an hour's drive north of Ubud. From the main Ubud art market, head east to the large statue intersection and head further up north.

The Tegallangang Rice Terraces are popular for its stunning views of rice paddies that also involves the traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system known as Subak. These rice paddies are delight to visit as it is one of most photogenic place in the Bali as it offers so many beautiful sceneries to admire. This place also houses numerousart kiosks and cafes near the ledge that offer their ware which makes it comfortable to tourists to rest and admire the beautiful scenes of this area.You can also visit a farmer who owns this amazing lands as they do invite the visitors to try their green coconut drink and buy the woven hats made of coconut leaves. This ancient valley possesses a timeless charm whether there are tourists visiting this place or not.
